Driving through roadworks correctly

Roadworks are narrow, there are often workers next to the road and the lanes are changed.

Yellow wins
If there are yellow markings, they apply – the white lines underneath are then cancelled.
Watch out for
The key points:
- Stick to the speed limit
- Keep your distance and don’t tailgate
- Stay in your lane
- Watch for construction vehicles and workers
The sign
The “roadworks” warning sign announces them. You’ll find it in the sign lexicon.
