The rules
In a traffic-calmed area:
- Drive at walking pace
- Pedestrians may use the whole street
- Children may play anywhere
- Park only in marked spaces
At the end of the area
When you drive out of a traffic-calmed area, you must give way to everyone else. In Driving School Germany such areas are marked as walking pace on the map.
