Give way: the triangle on its tip
1 min read · Updated on October 17, 2026
The white triangle with a red border standing on its tip means: you must give way to others.
Stop only if necessary
Unlike at a stop sign, you don’t always have to stop. If the road is clear, you may continue – but approach slowly and look carefully.
At roundabouts too
Many roundabouts have exactly this sign – then traffic in the circle has priority.
Keep going
